A 39-year old Russian woman died on Wednesday after a car she was in crashed into a truck in Pissouri, police said.
Police said the woman was in the front passenger seat of a car driven by a 27-year old man.
While on Pafos avenue in Pissouri, the man apparently lost control of his vehicle and crashed sideways with a parked truck at around 1am.
Police and fire service officers arrived at the scene and rushed the couple to Limassol General Hospital.
The woman died at around 3am while the driver is in serious but not life threatening condition.
